Sidney Cotton, RN

HMS Good Hope
The next lead I followed was from a letter that my Nan sent me 20 years ago, in which she said that one of her uncles, Sidney Cotton, was lost at sea.
Another search in CWGC.org, and I found that he had died at the Battle of Coronel when his ship, the HMS Good Hope was destroyed.
More details about Able Seaman Sidney Cotton to follow...
I created a Google Sheet with the CWGC data on all the hands lost on the Good Hope, which can be found here.
