Welcome to "Come Lasses and Lads", a blog for my research into my family's involvement in the First World War. My starting point was my great, great uncle who was in 2nd Battalion, South Staffs. 30195 Pte Alfred Robottom was killed on 4th March 1917.As complete a biography as I have been able to write can be found here.
